Zu unserem 25jährigen hatten wir zwei Jubiläumskonzerte in Oberhausen und Dresden gespielt, die wir damals mitgeschnitten hatten. Und welchen besseren Zeitpunkt gibt es, als in Zeiten ohne Publikumskonzerte, zu einem Jubiläum ein Jubiläumskonzert mit Publikum zu veröffentlichen?! Und ich kann Euch sagen, es war so schön beim mischen des Albums Euren Applaus zu hören. Nachträglich noch einmal danke dafür!

25周年紀念時我們在奧柏豪森跟德勒斯登舉辦了兩場演唱紀念會，那時我們也錄影了。還有比現在更好的時機嗎，在這個沒有演唱會觀眾的週年發行一張有觀眾的周年演唱會? 我可以跟你們說，在混音時聽到觀眾的觀呼是非常開心的。雖然已經是過去了，但真的很感謝。

At our 25th anniversary we played two concerts in Oberhausen and in Dresden that we recorded back then. And what better time could be there, in times without concerts with audiences, than to publish an anniversary concert with an audience for an anniversary?! And I can tell you, while mixing the album, it was so wunderful to hear your applause. Thank you again for that!

Aber hier kommt nun einmal die erwähnte Kleinigkeit, von der ich geschrieben hatte: Vielleicht habt Ihr während des Streaming Konzertes das Lacrimosa Logo in Chrom auf meiner Gitarre bemerkt?! Dies ist ein Chrom-Aufkleber, der als kleinstes Teil in der Box zu finden sein wird, neben einigem Anderen, von dem ich Euch hier nach und nach schreiben werde.

Today I want to share with you our joy about our new project: At the end of the year we will release a hand-numbered box limited to 2,000 pieces worldwide, for which we have produced a lot of great content. Frohes Halloween – der Mond dreht unbeirrt seine Kreise!

Unter anderen Umständen hätten wir vor wenigen Tagen ein neues Studioalbum veröffentlicht und wären dieser Tage aufgebrochen, um das Album rund um den Globus live zu präsentieren.

Nun, bekanntlich kommt gerade alles anders. Zumindest konnten wir mit dem Streaming Konzert im August Freunde und Mitarbeiter aus der Branche ein wenig unterstützen.

Nun hatte ich ja bereits geschrieben, dass wir etwas in Planung haben. Dieses, das Jubiläumsjahr abrundende, wird – falls die Produktionsstätten nicht wieder geschlossen werden – noch dieses Jahr erscheinen und ich hoffe, es wird Euch genauso viel Freude bereiten, wie uns!

原本在幾天之前我們就該發行我們的新專輯，原本這段時間我們會踏上世界巡迴的旅程。

然而眾所周知現在一切都不一樣了。至少我們還能以八月的直播演唱會給我們同業的朋友跟同事一些幫助。

就像我已經寫過的，我們還有一個計畫。這個圍繞著周年紀念的計畫如果沒有再度被打斷的話會在今年實現，我希望他能夠帶給你們許多快樂，像帶給我們一樣。

Happy Halloween – the moon is constantly circling!

Under different circumstances we would have released a new studio album a few days ago and would have set off these days to present the album live around the globe.

Well, as we all know, things are different. At least we were able to support friends and employees from the industry a little with the streaming concert in August.

And then, I already wrote that we are planning something. This, rounding off the anniversary year, will come out – if the production facilities are not closing again – still this year and I hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Warum diese grosse Halle für ein Streaming Konzert? Ganz einfach, die Location muss einige Voraussetzungen erfüllen:

INTERNET: Hallen sind konzipiert für ein Publikum vor Ort und verfügen nur selten über die Infrastruktur für Internetübertragungen in ausreichender Bandbreite.

FLUGHAFEN: Crew- und Bandmitglieder leben über Europa verteilt. Eine Location in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einem internationalen Flughafen spart Reise- und Logistikkosten.

ABSTANDSREGELN: Auch wir müssen uns daran halten und dafür benötigt es zahlreiche und grosse Räumlichkeiten, auf die sich alle Produktionsmitarbeiter verteilen können. Es gibt viele, grosse Konzertsäle, deren Räumlichkeiten hinter der Bühne aber mehr an eine Ölsardinendose erinnern.

OPTIK: Damit das Konzert auf Euren Bildschirmen ein Sehvergnügen wird, braucht es eine grosse Bühne, auf der mittels vieler Kameras unterschiedliche Perspektiven eingefangen werden können.

KOSTEN: Ausgehend von diesen und anderen Voraussetzungen, gab es Verhandlungen mit diversen Hallenbetreibern, wobei wir hier die besten Konditionen angeboten bekamen.

網路：大多場地是為現場觀眾設計的，很少能夠提供網路直播的頻寬。

機場：樂團團員住在歐洲各處，離國際機場很近的場地能節省旅行與物流的開支。

安全距離：就算是我們也必須遵守安全距離，因此需要很大的空間分配給所有工作人員。許多很大的演唱會場地其實後台跟沙丁魚罐頭一樣。

光線：為了讓演唱會在你們的螢幕上是精彩可期的，需要一個夠大的舞台，可以放許多攝影機拍攝各種角度。

費用：這也是最重要的前提，經過與許多場地籌辦的諮詢，這是我們得到最好的條件。

Why this big hall for a streaming concert? Quite simply, the location must meet some requirements:

INTERNET: Since events are usually held for audiences on site, very few halls have the infrastructure for Internet transmission in sufficient bandwidth.

AIRPORT: Crew and band members live across Europe. A location nearby an international airport saves travel and logistics costs.

DISTANCE RULES: We also need to follow them and therefor we need numerous and large rooms for all production employees. There are many large concert halls, but the rooms behind the stage are more like oil sardine cans.

OPTICS: In order to provide real viewing pleasure on your screens, a large stage is required for many cameras shooting from different angles.

COSTS: Based on these and other requirements, negotiations started with various hall operators, whereby we were offered the best conditions here.
